Cotton cloth scouring water contains hardness, so proper amount of trisodium phosphate should be added as softener. Its advantages can improve the capillary effect of fabrics.

Note:

1. After softening hard water with trisodium phosphate, the scouring effect of burning on cotton cloth can be promoted by keeping the scouring fluid from being consumed by hard water.

2. Trisodium phosphate reacts with calcium and magnesium salts in hard water to form insoluble calcium phosphate and magnesium phosphate, which are not sticky and will not stick to the fabric like calcium and magnesium salts in soap. In addition, it has penetration and emulsification.

3. In general water hardness, the dosage of trisodium phosphate is about 0.5-1 g/l.
