Pure aluminum dihydrogen phosphate is needle-like crystal or large rod-like crystal, belongs to hexagonal system, has density of 2.19, strong hygroscopicity, is soluble in water, and the PH value of 1% aqueous solution is about 2.4. Industrial products are divided into liquid and solid states. The liquid is colorless, tasteless and viscous syrup, and the solid is white powdery crystal.

Material grade aluminum dihydrogen phosphate is an ideal chemical binder with good normal temperature binder, high temperature cementation, high temperature resistance, earthquake resistance, corrosion resistance and airflow erosion resistance. Another time, 50% aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, 85% aluminum trioxide and high-quality clay were mixed in Xuzhou iron and steel plant to be used as the coating of tundish nozzle for induction furnace steelmaking. the molten steel was about 1650°C, and the nozzle was intermittently operated for 3min each time, flowing through about 50kg of molten steel, which still had good high-temperature thermal stability.
