The use of aluminum dihydrogen phosphate

          As a high-temperature binder, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate has the characteristics of strong chemical binding, hardening at room temperature, high temperature resistance and scouring resistance under high temperature conditions. As early as the 1980s, the foundry industry began to use aluminum dihydrogen phosphate as a binder for the shell-making process. In recent years, some experts have also conducted research in this area. Liu Weilai et al. Modified the phosphate binder by adding magnesium oxide and M agent to obtain a self-hardening casting binder with good moisture resistance and high strength. Xing Jinlong and others modified the phosphate binder for casting and achieved good process performance and self-stability.

Pure aluminum dihydrogen phosphate is needle-like crystals or large rod-shaped crystals, belonging to the hexagonal crystal system, density 2. 19. Strong hygroscopicity, soluble in water, pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 2. 4 or so. Industrial products are divided into liquid and solid states. The liquid is colorless, tasteless and viscous syrup, and the solid is white powdery crystals. Material grade aluminum dihydrogen phosphate has good room temperature adhesion, high temperature cementability, high temperature resistance, shock resistance, corrosion resistance, air flow erosion resistance, is an ideal chemical bond. I have done two tests: one is to add 3% aluminum dihydrogen phosphate to corundum powder, adjust it into a slurry, and bond three pairs of test blocks, one group is dried at 110 ℃ for 12 h, and the other group is heated to 1 400 ℃ , Hold for 2 hours, cool to room temperature, and measure the flexural bond strength of 2.12MPa and 8. 3MPa. Another time was to mix 50% aluminum dihydrogen phosphate with 85% aluminum oxide and high-quality ceramics in Xuzhou Iron and Steel Plant. It was used as a coating for the induction furnace steelmaking tundish nozzle. Every 3min, about 50kg of molten steel flows, it still has good high temperature thermal stability. In addition, it can be mixed with high temperature resistant fillers to improve the performance of high temperature resistant materials and made into various refractory coatings, flame retardant coatings, high temperature resistant cementing materials, refractory cement, etc. Therefore, it is widely used in industries such as high-temperature furnaces, high-temperature-resistant equipment, electrical, metallurgy, and building materials.

Nature:

There are two kinds of anhydrous and liquid. The anhydrous substance is powdery crystal, the pure product is hexagonal crystal needle-like or rod-like crystal, the relative density is 2.19. The liquid is a colorless, odorless, viscous syrup-like liquid with a relative density of 1.44 to 1.47. Both liquids and solids have strong chemical bonds and are easily soluble in water. Easy to cure at room temperature. The cured body is resistant to high temperature, vibration and flaking, and has good infrared absorption capacity and insulation properties. When heated to 236 ℃, it will produce aluminum dihydrogen pyrophosphate; when it is 300 ~ 400 ℃, it will produce aluminum dihydrogen tripolyphosphate; above 900 ℃, it will produce aluminum metaphosphate.

use:

Used as adhesives, high temperature resistant jointing materials and insulating materials for high temperature kilns, heat treatment electric furnaces, etc. It is also used as an intumescent flame retardant coating for fibers, wood, etc. It is used in the production of ceramic products, which can improve the high-temperature compressive strength and flexural strength of products. Mixed into cement, it can increase the strength of cement products and shorten the setting time. Used as a bonding material or surface coating with good dielectric properties in the production of electrical appliances.
